Nineteen-year-old Amanda flees her toxic mother in Germany to start over in Portugal. She meets Linda, a dropout living in a van with her daughter Flora, surviving as pickpockets. Amanda joins them, learning their tricks. She falls for Linda, but when rejected, she sets Linda's van on fire. This time, she faces her demons and takes responsibility. A road movie about freedom, mother- daughter bonds, and the urge to escape.
